So the overnight sprint was a success, we were able to do what we set out aka design the level and mechanics, add sprites and behaviours and we're looking good so far. I do wish that we get to create more levels so that players can enjoy the game for a longer run. Lets hope the 7 hour deadline gets us closer to that cause during the night sprint we worked on the level, the art and the behaviours.
Okay so its 1:30 in the morning, we've been working our game aka Project Dream ( final name to be announced after completion ) So far we've done our level design and generated the concepts for the obstacles using the physics in our game. We've added different elements to use the physics and so far the game has presented itself pretty well, we still hope to complete more levels and polish the game more.
Its 9 hours since the commencement of Game Developers Conference - Build Your Own Game Contest, hosted by the InGDIn, and we've been working on our game concept and developing it further and so we've done our level design and our prototype is ready. We are still working on tweaking and adding small elements and polishing the user interface.
We've started working on our project titled Project Dream for now. Our game is a unique platformer with a variety of physics and sequences available for the players. After an hours brain storming we were able to set our head straight and figure out a basic story and mechanics that we're going to be using in our title. For obvious reasons I cant put up every bit of detail that we have planned, ( that sorta beats the purpose of the other upcoming updates I guess ).
